From Strategy to Execution – The COO’s Key Role in Making It Happen

2 min read

The rules of the business game are constantly shifting. Long gone are the days of traditional models, today’s landscape is dynamic, disruptive, and demands a different pace. Markets are more versatile, competition is tougher, and technology continues to redefine the playing field.

In this new reality, where “thinking outside the box” is no longer optional but expected, organizations that aim to lead can’t afford to work with partners who only deliver reports or advice without involvement in execution. What they need are strategic allies who co-create, and who guarantee real results.

That’s why at Raven, we don’t just go from idea to execution, to design, build, and sell. We’ve added a critical role to our leadership team: our new Chief Operating Officer, Chris Ellison. Chris joins Raven with over two decades of international leadership experience.

A World-Class Team to Scale with Purpose

Raven was born four years ago in Latin America, specifically in Chile, but from day one, we were built to go global. Since then, we’ve expanded to Mexico and Spain, with local teams across both continents and a global team of over 140 talented professionals. Most recently, we were recognized as the first Chilean company to win the Multinational Award by LA RAZÓN.

But beyond measurable outcomes, what’s fueled our rapid growth is our ability to consistently deliver real results in response to the evolving demands of our clients’ industries. Our execution-driven approach stands out, and more importantly, it works. Project after project, we’ve provided a clear answer to the question: “Why Raven?”

While traditional firms deliver reports, we embed ourselves in your team and deliver real results. Our Think → Build → Sell model unlocks the innate disruptive potential of every individual and organization, working across the entire value chain, from strategic thinking to go-to-market execution.

“As we expand globally, our goal is to scale this model without losing the agility, creativity, and focus that set us apart, and that’s exactly where Chris, our new COO, comes in.” Juan José de la Torre, CEO of Raven.

Chris Ellison was formerly VP of Sales and Marketing at Certn, a North American, VC-backed tech platform, where he led global teams across North America, Europe, and APAC. But what sets Chris apart isn’t just his experience, it’s his mindset.

Chris has led global functions in Australia, Canada, and the Middle East. He began his career as a diplomat before going on to scale high-growth companies in complex markets. So he knows what it takes to build with urgency, and operate with purpose.

“It’s rare to find a professional services firm as hands-on as Raven,” Chris said.“We don’t just talk about transformation, we deliver strategies that drive real business impact. I’m here to help scale that, globally.”

The Market Has Changed. Your Partners Should Too.

Businesses are under more pressure than ever to adapt. Legacy systems, siloed teams, AI disruption, and shifting customer expectations have made speed-to-value the most critical KPI.

That’s where Raven comes in, to help companies not just navigate complexity, but move through it with clarity and velocity. We’re not here for unnecessary projects. We’re here to solve what matters. Fast.

Whether it’s launching a new digital business, designing a revenue model, or helping you move from strategy to action, we integrate, deliver, and move. No red tape. No endless decks. Just work that creates real value.
